Role Overview:
As a Professional Data Analyst in GTO Manufacturing, you will play a crucial role in collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data to enhance decision-making processes and improve manufacturing operations. This position demands a solid grasp of data analysis techniques, manufacturing processes, and effective communication of insights.
Key Responsibilities:
Data Collection and Management:
- Gather data from various sources, including production lines, quality control systems, and ERP systems.
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity through regular validation and cleaning.
Data Analysis:
- Analyze production data to uncover trends, patterns, and anomalies.
- Utilize statistical methods and software tools to generate actionable insights.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs).
Process Improvement:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains.
- Provide data-driven recommendations to optimize manufacturing processes and reduce waste.
- Support the implementation of Lean and Six Sigma initiatives.
Reporting and Communication:
- Prepare and present detailed reports and visualizations to management and stakeholders.
- Communicate complex data findings clearly and concisely.
- Assist in developing data-driven strategies to support business objectives.
Technical Support:
- Offer technical support for data-related issues and troubleshoot discrepancies.
- Stay updated with the latest data analysis tools and technologies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Data Analyst, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools such as SQL, Python, R, and data visualization software (Power BI).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and Lean/Six Sigma methodologies is a plus.
