Job Title: Professional Data Analyst - GTO Manufacturing

Location: Gothenburg

Duration: 2025-06-02 to 2026-05-31

Experience Required: 2-5 years

Role Overview:

As a Professional Data Analyst in GTO Manufacturing, you will play a crucial role in collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data to enhance decision-making processes and improve manufacturing operations. This position demands a solid grasp of data analysis techniques, manufacturing processes, and effective communication of insights.

Key Responsibilities:

Data Collection and Management:

  • Gather data from various sources, including production lines, quality control systems, and ERP systems.
  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity through regular validation and cleaning.

Data Analysis:

  • Analyze production data to uncover trends, patterns, and anomalies.
  • Utilize statistical methods and software tools to generate actionable insights.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs).

Process Improvement:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains.
  • Provide data-driven recommendations to optimize manufacturing processes and reduce waste.
  • Support the implementation of Lean and Six Sigma initiatives.

Reporting and Communication:

  • Prepare and present detailed reports and visualizations to management and stakeholders.
  • Communicate complex data findings clearly and concisely.
  • Assist in developing data-driven strategies to support business objectives.

Technical Support:

  • Offer technical support for data-related issues and troubleshoot discrepancies.
  • Stay updated with the latest data analysis tools and technologies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Data Analyst, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools such as SQL, Python, R, and data visualization software (Power BI).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes and Lean/Six Sigma methodologies is a plus.
