Assignment Description:

We are looking for a Senior Cobol Developer to join our dynamic team.

What You Will Work On

Maintain and develop multiple insurance systems, ensuring stability and lifecycle management
Support the migration of insurance agreements to Lumera while maintaining existing Cobol-based systems
Collaborate with team members working on the bank’s securities systems
Troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve technical challenges independently
Align development efforts with business and customer needs

What You Bring

Proven experience as a Cobol developer, preferably within insurance or banking
Expertise in Cobol, J2CT, DB2, SQL, and IDz, with the ability to read and maintain legacy code
Strong logical thinking and problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented approach
Ability to adapt work priorities and methods as needed
Team player who values knowledge sharing and collaboration
Fluency in Swedish, both written and spoken
