What you will do as our Service Technician

In the role of service technician, you will actively work with our customers' entire product lifecycle. This means performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting service issues, and carrying out repairs on our contracted and non-contracted products and solutions within the assigned geographical area. As a Service Technician with us, you will be responsible for the results in your own district in the region, both in terms of turnover and delivering first-class service to our customers.

The position is particularly advantageous for those living in Skövde and surrounding areas.

Responsibilities:

  • Preventive maintenance.
  • Troubleshooting service.
  • Upgrades and replacements.
  • Inventory of products.
  • Documentation and reporting.

The skills and experience you need

To be successful in this role, you need to:

  • Plan and prioritize tasks in consultation with the Regional Service Manager.
  • Independently perform tasks and report to the customer and AAES.
  • Propose improvement and upgrade measures to the customer.
  • Escalate unresolved service tasks to the regional service planner.
  • Be responsible for personal safety and equipment.

As a person, you have a strong service orientation and a natural ability to build relationships. You communicate clearly and work independently, but with a flexible and structured work style. With a good understanding of current products and their needs, combined with technical knowledge in mechanics, electronics, and hydraulics, you are well-equipped to solve problems on-site. Your background includes a 3-year high school education in electrical, mechanical, or equivalent fields, as well as 1-4 years of experience as a service technician or in a similar role. Good language skills in Swedish and basic English help you communicate effectively, and you are proficient in MS Office, Android, and FMP360. Together with a B driver's license, your strong sense of responsibility and structure make you a valuable part of our team.
