Software Developer at the Swedish Customs

Your Role

As a software developer at the Swedish Customs, you will participate in the development across several exciting business areas, particularly within IAM. You will work in an agile team responsible for requirements, design, development, solution architecture, and testing. The team works on new development and further development of systems within its business area. Here, you will have the opportunity to use your existing skills while deepening them in a warm and supportive environment.

Your Mission

  • Design and develop robust and scalable systems that process large amounts of data.
  • Contribute to automating our processes to increase efficiency and minimize manual efforts.
  • Lead and participate in technical discussions, contribute your expertise to the team, and collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure that our digital services meet business needs.

Who Are You?

  • You have an academic education in IT or equivalent experience.
  • You have several years of current professional experience in software development in Java.
  • You have experience working in an agile environment.
  • You can express yourself well in both spoken and written Swedish and English.
  • You are communicative, unpretentious, and a strong team player.
  • You have the drive and curiosity to constantly learn new things and improve work methods.
  • For you, the Swedish Customs' values; Holistic view, Innovation, Responsibility, are completely natural.

We place great importance on personal suitability.

Desirable Experience

  • Knowledge of Angular.
  • Experience working with JBoss as an application platform.
  • Familiar with using Git for version control.
  • Experience with container solutions.
  • Experience with IAM products (Identity Governance Administration/Lifecycle).
