Botkyrka Municipality is the sixth largest municipality in Stockholm County and consists of the districts of Alby, Fittja, Hallunda, Norsborg, Tullinge, Tumba, Vårsta, and Grödinge. Botkyrka Municipality has approximately 95,000 inhabitants and over 6,400 employees.
The Social Administration provides support to the residents of Botkyrka and is responsible for public authority activities, primarily according to the Social Services Act. The support is for both individuals and their relatives. The Social Administration has a special responsibility for children, young people, and adults in need of support according to social legislation. We are about 500 employees who, with strength-based working methods, provide support to the residents of Botkyrka in an equal, fair, and safe manner.
The position and job responsibilities
The role of finance assistant with a focus on fees is a newly created function in the unit.
The role is a central function for the administration and involves a large network of contacts within both the finance function, other administrations' finance functions, and primarily within our own operations.
Initially, your main tasks will largely involve fee processing and invoice management. You will also assist in other financial administrative tasks depending on the workload and time of year. Since the role is newly established in the unit, we will shape the content together over time.
An important part of the work is that you are also responsible for finding smart solutions and more efficient working methods to facilitate the work primarily within your tasks but also to provide input regarding colleagues' areas of responsibility. The role requires that you are used to working in a team and have an easy time collaborating across multiple contact points.
In the group, we focus on collaboration, we take joint responsibility for our mission, and we help each other with the challenges and questions that arise during the day.

You will join a wonderful team that, in addition to you, consists of two controllers, one economist, two finance assistants, three rental administrators, and one finance manager.

You who are applying to us
Requirements:
- High school education in finance or education and/or experience that the employer deems equivalent
- Familiarity with systems
- Good knowledge of Excel
Meritorious:
- Experience from public sector
- Experience in invoice management including coding of supplier invoices
- Experience with the ERP system Unit4, the operational system LifeCare, and the invoice management system Proceedo
- Experience in fee processing
