About the Position

Scania Health & Safety is an organization focused on expert support in the field of Health and Occupational Safety. The organization has units in Södertälje, Oskarshamn, and Luleå, as well as in Zwolle, Netherlands, and Angers, France. Our mission is to support and assist production operations in their work on occupational health.

We are now looking for an Occupational Health Nurse for the Occupational Health Service in Luleå. Together with your cross-functional team, you will work on assignments at the individual, group, and organizational levels across different parts of Scania. The cross-functional team consists of an occupational health nurse, company doctor, ergonomist, occupational safety engineer, and psychologist. Rehabilitation and work adaptation are significant parts of the job. You will work both independently on your own cases and in collaboration with other professional categories.

Your Responsibilities

  • Identify and describe the connections between work environment, organization, productivity, and health
  • Contribute to discovering, preventing, and minimizing occupational health risks for clients
  • Participate in the rehabilitation process through dialogue with employees and employers
  • Sampling
  • Introductory conversations
  • Management consultations
  • Reception work such as pre-employment examinations, vaccinations, and statutory health checks
  • Conduct training on Health and Occupational Safety
  • Participate in internal improvement work within the organization
  • Participate in occupational health forums
  • Engage in mapping health risks and risk environments

You will work consultatively with a strong customer focus - at the individual, group, and organizational levels. Also in collaboration with other professionals within Health & Safety.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone who is an occupational health nurse or a registered nurse with a health-promoting perspective and a genuine interest in people's health and well-being. You are confident, positive, and independent, with the ability to build good relationships with both clients and colleagues. You are comfortable in cross-functional work. Experience in rehabilitation work is an advantage. Your English skills are good in both spoken and written forms.
