Job Description

For the summer of 2025, we are looking for a nurse for Garnis short-term accommodation. The position is a summer temporary position from 2024-05-01 to 2025-08-31 and full-time. The flow of patients to the short-term accommodation is varied, including patients coming from hospital discharges, rehabilitation, respite care, etc.

Collaboration with home healthcare, hospitals, and other agencies is a significant and important part of the work. Everything from nursing, admissions, and discharges to medical technical work makes this a workplace with great variety.

You will be part of a team of nurses at the facility during the day, with evening and weekend work also occurring.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a nurse in the municipality's health and medical care, you will work independently. The nurse has the health and medical care responsibility and makes assessments of health conditions and contacts primary care physicians when necessary.

The work involves collaborating with and guiding care staff in the nursing work at the short-term accommodation.

QUALIFICATIONS

You are a licensed nurse. Additional qualifications such as district nurse or geriatric care are advantageous.

You should be confident in your professional role, have an easy time collaborating, be clear and attentive, and possess pedagogical skills. You should be able to work independently and be service-oriented. We prefer that you have several years of experience in the profession.

Requirement: B driver's license.
