Your tasks

We are now looking for someone who wants to be part of our creative and dynamic operations and who, through their work, wants to create the best conditions for learning. The assignment includes teaching, documentation, quality and safety work, planning, parent contacts, and more. As a substitute teacher, you will work in a classroom and be responsible for the subjects and the class during school hours. You will be part of the team responsible for developing teaching and operations through collegial collaboration. Through a good familiarity with the school's governing documents and through clear leadership, you will work towards good goal fulfillment for all students.

Your workplace

Ljungsbroskolan is a K-9 school located in a fantastic environment, close to both Roxen, Göta Canal, and Vreta Kloster. At our school, we focus on knowledge and learning. We have high expectations of our students, and they have high expectations of us. This leads to good results and a positive school climate. The school is close to a swimming hall, ice rink, sports hall, and Olstorp's outdoor area, as well as good public bus connections to Linköping city center.

You who are applying

To work at our school, you need to be at least 18 years old. You need to have a high school diploma or an ongoing adult education program to become a childcare worker. We primarily seek those with relevant education, such as ongoing or completed studies to become a childcare worker, preschool teacher, or teacher. You need to have experience working with children/youth for at least 4 weeks, which can be paid work, internships, or volunteer work. It is an advantage if you have worked in preschool, school, and/or after-school care. You should be able to apply your knowledge and experiences in practical teaching when supporting children and students in their development; therefore, experience and personal suitability are important. It is a requirement that you have good communication skills in spoken and written Swedish. This is so that you, according to the curricula (Lpfö22 and Lgr18), can organize and implement the work so that the child receives support in their language and communication development and be responsible for ensuring that each child can use the Swedish language in a rich and nuanced way.

In your role as a substitute, you should be a good role model. You have the ability to collaborate well with the contacts that occur in your professional role, adapted to the situation. In the role of a substitute, it is also important that you take initiative and responsibility in activities and tasks that occur in the operations. Since you are booked according to the needs of the operations, it means that one day is rarely like another, and we therefore believe that you are a flexible person who can easily adapt to new operations/work environments and group constellations.
