Måsöskolan is an F-6 school with approximately 560 students and 64 competent and engaged staff members.

We are now looking for an elementary school teacher for grades 1-6 with a focus on Swedish-English, but who also has a broader qualification. Qualification to teach mathematics is a significant advantage. The position is a temporary contract during Lå 25-26.

Responsibilities

The right person is required to provide students with well-planned and tailored instruction.

• have a listening approach and assume that children do the right thing if they can.
• have a genuine interest in children and be motivated by seeing them grow.
• have good experience as a teacher and experience working with children with special needs.
• be a clear leader who is calm, stable, structured, stress-resistant, and solution-focused.
• have good collaboration skills as you will work closely with teachers in the relevant teams (grade 6 and grade 4 teams).
• have experience in mentorship and the ability to build good relationships with parents.

Qualifications

Qualification for grades 4-6 with a focus on Swedish-English, but preferably with as broad a subject qualification as possible.

It is a plus if you have knowledge of or experience with PAX and Cps.
