Drive Digital Development in Sundbyberg City!
Are you a strategic and solution-oriented person with a deep understanding of IT and procurement? Do you want to help ensure that the city's digital systems and services are developed and implemented effectively? Then this is an opportunity for you!
Here in Sundbyberg City, we are now looking for a technical project manager who will play a central role in representing IT throughout the lifecycle of system procurement – from needs analysis and requirements specification to implementation and handover to the management organization. The role also involves being responsible for the city's technical requirements catalog related to IT systems. You will be a key person in our digital transformation and ensure that our IT solutions meet both the needs of the business and technical requirements.
As an IT project manager, you are responsible for driving and coordinating IT work during system procurement and implementation of systems. You ensure that IT requirements are considered throughout the process, from early analyses to final implementation and management. You also have primary responsibility for the IT technical requirements catalog where you structure and update the requirements that the city places on operational systems.
Your tasks include representing IT in the entire system procurement process and ensuring that IT requirements are clearly defined and adhered to. You are responsible for developing and managing the IT technical requirements catalog related to systems and digital services. You lead and coordinate the work from a technical perspective in the agencies' procurements, from needs analysis to implementation and operation. Your goal is to ensure that IT solutions meet requirements for security, integration, and usability. In short, collaborate closely with the business, IT unit, procurement officers, and suppliers to optimize the city's IT solutions.
We want you to have an academic degree in IT, systems science, or another relevant field, or equivalent experience. You have several years of experience leading IT projects in the public sector, related to procurement and requirements specification. You also have a good understanding of IT procurement and relevant legislation (e.g., LOU) and experience in formulating and managing technical specifications. You have basic knowledge of IT security, integration, and system management. You have the ability and are used to communicating technical solutions in a pedagogical way to non-technical target groups.
In this recruitment, we place great emphasis on personal qualities. To succeed in the role, you need to be analytical, structured, and collaborative. You have the ability to create engagement and consensus among different stakeholders, while also having a keen eye for detail and ensuring that IT requirements are adhered to throughout the process.
Sundbyberg City is a modern and forward-looking workplace where digitization and innovation are important. We offer a dynamic work environment where you have the opportunity to influence and develop both IT and the business as a whole.
There is an opportunity for remote work based on individual agreements, a generous wellness allowance, benefit bicycle, vacation exchange for extra days off, membership in Sundbyberg's municipal employees' sports association (SKIF), and discounted annual passes to the swimming hall. Just a stone's throw from the city hall is the Ursvik recreational area with running and skiing trails as well as MTB trails. For art enthusiasts, there is the opportunity to become a member of the art association Bladoram. For those who want to cycle, there are also good bike paths, bike storage, changing rooms, and showers. Sundbyberg City has good communication options with proximity to the subway, light rail, commuter trains, and buses.
In our bright and modern city hall, we work activity-based to promote collaboration, creativity, and learning.
