Committed Spanish Teacher Wanted at Malmö Idrottsgymnasium

Malmö Idrottsgymnasium is seeking a committed teacher for Spanish instruction during the autumn term of 2025. This position is a part-time temporary role at 50%. Join us and contribute to the future of Malmö residents and society.

Responsibilities

As a teacher, you will work to help students develop their full potential – both academically and socially. You will support, motivate, and stimulate each student to meet the knowledge requirements based on their individual circumstances. Your work includes planning, teaching, assessment, as well as evaluation and development of the educational activities in accordance with the school's governing documents.

We are a learning organization that promotes knowledge exchange, where you will be in an environment characterized by collegial learning and development. Together with colleagues, you will work to create a good learning and working environment for both students and staff. You will also contribute to the quality and development work at the school.

Qualifications

Requirements:

• Teaching certification
• Qualification to teach Spanish at the upper secondary level
• Experience in teaching or educational work
• Familiarity with using digital tools for communication and pedagogy
• Excellent subject knowledge
• Very good Swedish in speech and writing
• Very good Spanish in speech and writing

Desirable:

• Experience in teaching Spanish

We are looking for someone who is confident in the teaching role and creates good conditions for students' learning and development. You adapt your teaching according to the students' and group's circumstances and prior knowledge through a creative approach and excellent pedagogical skills. Your working style is characterized by good structure, and you prioritize and organize tasks efficiently. Additionally, you contribute to good collaborations and communicate openly, clearly, and attentively with your surroundings.

About the Workplace

Malmö Idrottsgymnasium is located in unique premises at Eleda Stadion in the Stadion area and has an inspiring study and elite sports environment characterized by joy, development, and results. We currently have 630 students in the programs SA, NA, FS, EK, and adapted upper secondary school. Here, students meet engaged teachers and instructors who provide them the opportunity to combine education and elite sports. We have well-educated teachers focused on daily instruction, where each individual student is seen and can develop based on their circumstances.
