About the Position

As a Service Technician at Metso, you have an exciting role in a close-knit team working with larger and smaller players in the mining industry and industry in Kiruna and surrounding areas. In this role, you are responsible for service and repairs as well as preventive maintenance for Metso's customers. You will also work in our own service workshop with various tasks.

The work as a Service Technician is free and versatile, and no day is the same! As a person, you thrive in a physical job and are used to working at a fast pace. We offer two specializations as a Service Technician: one focused on the conveyor side and another on the mill, where other products are also included. The position specializing in the mill involves travel, approximately 10–20 days per year, primarily to Gällivare, but also to Norway and Finland may occur.

You will receive all practical training required to perform the work as a service technician with us. As an employee, you will have access to a company car for transport between sites, as well as wellness and health insurance. We value a good working environment and place great importance on safety.

Who Are You?

We are looking for someone who has:

• at least a high school education, preferably from an industrial program
• experience or education in industry, heavy industry, or as a mechanic. Experience from working at mining facilities or with repair and maintenance of concentration plants or mills is an advantage but not a requirement
• a strong interest in your work and a curiosity to learn new things
• a good technical understanding, is meticulous, and has a sense for details
• self-drive, flexibility, and a solution-oriented attitude

In addition, you enjoy working both independently and in collaboration with others, and you have a strong work ethic. We see that you are fluent in Swedish in both speech and writing, and it is an advantage if you also speak English or other languages. A driver's license is required.
