Jokkmokks Energi AB is looking for an Operations Technician in renewable energy

About us:

Jokkmokks Energi AB is a municipal-owned company that produces and delivers district heating within the Jokkmokk locality. We operate our district heating and electricity production using biofuels and strive to be part of the sustainable energy transition. Our dedicated team consists of six committed employees, and we serve around 500 district heating customers. With us, you will find a varied job with a range of interesting tasks.

Your role:

As an operations technician with us, you will play a central role in our team. Your responsibilities include monitoring, optimizing our operational processes, and ensuring that our systems function efficiently. On-call duty is included in the position.

We are looking for someone who:

· Has a relevant technical background and/or experience in the energy sector.

· Is a practical problem solver with theoretical understanding.

· Possesses excellent communication skills and can collaborate effectively both independently and in a team.

· Is customer-focused and can manage the needs and expectations of various stakeholders.

· Has the ability to quickly identify problems and offer solutions.

· Shows initiative and strives to improve operations.

· Holds a driver's license (B license) and is proficient in Swedish, both spoken and written.

Desirable qualifications:

· Post-secondary education in energy technology.

· Certified boiler operator.

· Knowledge of combustion technology and electronics.

· Experience in control and regulation technology from the process industry or computerized operational monitoring.

Start/Duration:

As soon as possible, full-time, permanent position. Monthly salary. A probationary period may apply.
