Job Description

The Labor Market Unit creates opportunities for people who are outside the labor market to be able to enter studies or work.

Individuals receive tailored support and participate in various activities within the Labor Market Unit. The activities include a laundry service, a handyman service, and a leisure bank. We also perform certain tasks within the municipality such as washing and cleaning cars, managing the operation and maintenance of certain municipal facilities, as well as other motivational efforts. The goal is to reduce exclusion, give individuals a sense of participation, and help them become self-sufficient.

We are looking for someone who wants an exciting and developing job, where no workday is the same. You should see the potential and possibilities in the individuals you meet. You will work in a team with other supervisors. You will cover for each other as needed and therefore need to be flexible and able to perform all the various tasks within the labor market.

As a supervisor, your tasks will include guiding, motivating, and supporting the individuals participating in the initiatives. This can be done through motivational conversations, coaching, or work training.

You should be able to instruct and also perform the activities included in the labor market, such as washing clothes, snow shoveling, mowing grass, operating ice machines or grooming machines, as well as cleaning. Certain administrative tasks such as scheduling and planning are also included.

Qualifications

Education

It is advantageous if you have relevant education or experience in the tasks included in the position.

Experience

You should have experience working with people, preferably newcomers, youth, and/or individuals with special needs. It is advantageous if you have experience with various practical tasks relevant to the labor market as well as administrative experience.

Personal Qualities

You should be able to work independently and take your own initiative. The job requires flexibility, accuracy, and the ability to structure and plan work. It is important that you can mentor people effectively and adapt to individual needs. We place particular emphasis on personal suitability.

Requirements

Driver's license (B).

Duration/Working Hours

The position is a temporary contract until August 31, 2025, with the possibility of extension.

Start date by agreement.
