Description

The Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Clinic in NU Health Care currently has about 150 full-time employees. These include treatment assistants, leisure educators, doctors, nurses, social workers, psychologists, psychotherapists, team secretaries, dietitians, special educators, speech therapists, and occupational therapists.

Currently, the BUP clinic is undergoing a major development and organizational effort to enhance operations in relation to patients and healthcare neighbors. This involves accessibility, current guidelines, and care programs, as well as how we will organize the BUP clinic to meet expectations as they exist today. We need to challenge our ingrained patterns and discover new opportunities while safeguarding the experience that exists and what we know works. Responsibilities

As a psychologist, you will conduct child psychiatric assessments, investigations, and treatments. Support for assessments and investigations is provided through jointly developed templates, supporting documents, and guidelines. Treatment can be provided individually to children/youth, in families, or in groups. We work based on various methods depending on the nature of the case and what is deemed most appropriate in the individual case, based on the National Board of Health and Welfare's and our regional medical guidelines (RMR).

The work also includes collaboration with schools, social services, habilitation, pediatric medicine, and other agencies around children and families.

The work is carried out in close collaboration with other staff, team leaders, and management. Qualified supervision is available within the reception for treatment and investigation work. The reception has a psychologically responsible leader (PLA) who is part of the management team. Psychologists at the reception have regular meetings to address common professional issues, and a cross-professional forum for reflection recurs throughout the term.

Qualifications

Licensed psychologist according to Swedish regulations. A PTP position can also be discussed. We expect you to have an interest in child and adolescent psychiatry, to be structured, clear, organized, and flexible, and to have a desire to work and be part of a team.

We value qualities such as good social competence where humor, initiative, and positive thinking are clear merits. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability and on qualities such as good collaboration skills and the ability to work independently.

Other
