Sales Leader Store Associate

We are now looking for you who want to work as a store associate with sales leader responsibility at Sportshopen in Luleå.

What does it mean to be a Sales Leader at Sportshopen?

• Share overall responsibility for the store, stock replenishment, merchandising, and actively work with upselling in consultation with the store manager.
• Be responsible for the flow of goods and work proactively against shrinkage.
• Lead and distribute work and train new employees in the store.
• Actively participate in daily operations.
• Review and follow up on sales reports.
• Deliver excellent customer service to maximize sales on the sales floor, in the fitting room, and at the checkout.
• Personnel responsibility when the store manager is not present.

Qualifications

It is desirable if you have previously worked as a department manager or in a similar position. You are skilled at analyzing sales figures. You have good knowledge of clothing, shoes, and sports equipment and are adept at conveying your knowledge. You have a good ability to lead and distribute work in the store. You should have a good sense for product presentation and be able to handle large flows of goods.

Personal Qualities

We are looking for someone who is driven, engaged, a team player with good collaboration skills. Furthermore, you should be responsible, flexible, and have a solution-oriented approach. You contribute to a good working atmosphere through a positive attitude and clear communication with your colleagues and our customers.

Conditions

The position is a permanent position at 90% employment rate starting with a 6-month probation period starting 5/5-25 or by agreement. The position has a fixed monthly salary according to the collective agreement with the Trade Union and an additional responsibility allowance for the sales leader role.

We may conduct a credit check as well as a criminal record extract on the applicant.

Who are we?

Swedemount Sportswear & Fashion AB started in 1991 and today has 18 stores under the name Sportshopen and one store under the name Bazar. In Sörred outside Gothenburg, we have our 20,000 sqm automated warehouse and office. In Grebbestad on the west coast, we also have our headquarters and our largest store, which is the largest sports store in the Nordics at 14,000 sqm.

Our stores are located throughout Sweden, from north to south, with a growing E-commerce that also extends to the European market. Sportshopen is today one of the larger individual players in Sweden in sales within sports and leisure. Our assortment mainly consists of clothing and shoes from leading brand suppliers, but we also develop and manufacture our own brands – clothing that can be used for activities in harsh climates, year-round.
