About the Unit
FMTIS has four implementation units (GE) in Sweden that perform maintenance of the Armed Forces' command systems within the IT and telecommunications area, the position is located at GE West. The unit works with the maintenance of the Armed Forces' telecommunications network, electrical/mechanical systems, radio, sensor, surveillance, and field systems, as well as installation, operation, and maintenance of various IT systems. The department in Halmstad consists of two sections, a telecommunications section and an IT section, totaling about 30 employees.
Main Responsibilities
As an IT technician, you will be part of a team of 14 employees responsible for IT support within Halmstad Garrison. The tasks are performed both individually and together with others. The work mainly consists of supporting users and resolving issues that come in through our ticketing system, both order and incident cases. This is done in various types of service environments where you act as a support function. The tasks are varied and also include troubleshooting and maintenance of IT equipment and systems.

Qualifications
- High school education with a focus on IT/data or equivalent knowledge assessed by the employer as equivalent.
- Previous work in first line support.
- Knowledge and experience of the Armed Forces' IT systems and infrastructure.
- Work experience in installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of hardware.
- Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
- Driving license B (manual transmission).
