Description

We are looking for someone who wants to work as a substitute at the Swimming and Sports Hall in Arvika.

Our swimming hall features a rectangular pool with six 25-meter lanes, a deep area with a diving tower, and a 55-meter long water slide. For the youngest, there is the adventure pool Pirate Bay, a popular playground of 90 square meters. We offer various types of swimming lessons as well as morning swimming.

The swimming hall also has a specially adapted area for the disabled with a relaxation room, sauna, and a heated combined pool with a height-adjustable bottom.

The Arvika Sports Hall is adjacent to the swimming hall and is Arvika's largest sports hall, featuring two larger halls as well as a martial arts room and table tennis hall.

The facility also includes a cafeteria, meeting rooms, and a gym equipped with cardio machines, strength machines, and free weights.

Responsibilities

Your duties will include pool supervision, facility maintenance, cleaning, water treatment, and cashier duties. The job requires good physical fitness and a love for movement. We strive to provide our visitors with the highest possible service and a friendly approach.

Qualifications

You must be at least 18 years old and have good swimming skills. You need to be able to swim 250 meters breaststroke, 50 meters backstroke, and dive to a depth of 3.8 meters to perform lifeguarding. Tests will be conducted before any employment. A completed lifeguard or pool lifeguard training or other equivalent training is an advantage.

A large part of the day involves direct customer contact, which requires a high sense of service where you are attentive and accommodating in your interactions. You find it natural to put the visitor first. As a person, you are engaged, self-driven, and flexible. You are good at collaborating with others and can adapt your working methods to changing circumstances. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

Conditions

Working hours are varied and include morning and evening shifts as well as weekends.

Selection and interviews will be conducted on an ongoing basis.

In the event of employment, you will be offered an intermittent agreement with the Recruitment and Competence Center in Arvika municipality. The agreement means that you will be booked by the hour as needed, based on your availability and the staffing needs of the operation.
