Spare Parts Manager at the Naval Workshop

The Boat Maintenance Department at the Naval Workshop is in an exciting phase of development and is now seeking a Spare Parts Manager for employment at the Naval Workshop located in Muskö. About the Unit
The Boat Maintenance Department is a new department being established to enhance the Navy's maintenance and technical support capabilities. The department is part of the Naval Workshops and is being built as a flexible team where everyone is involved in the entire maintenance commitment. Spare parts supply is a vital part of the maintenance commitment. We are now expanding with a branch warehouse and are looking for a Spare Parts Manager with extensive experience in warehousing/logistics. This is a merit in the application.
Main Responsibilities
As a Spare Parts Manager, you will help build up a material/spare parts warehouse and ensure inventory levels according to maintenance commitments. The tasks are very varied and are performed both in the workshop/warehouse and on board vessels. You will work independently or in teams.
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications
- 2- or 3-year high school with a technical focus or equivalent knowledge acquired in another way that the employer assesses as equivalent
- Several years of documented experience in warehousing/logistics
- Good knowledge of SAP/PRIO
- Good knowledge of Swedish and English in both spoken and written form
- Driver's license B

DESIRABLE
- Several years of experience in warehouse management in PRIO
- Purchasing training
- Wheel loader training
- Forklift training
- Travel training
- Completed military basic training

Employment form: Permanent employment starting with a six-month probationary period.
Employment rate: Full-time.
Work location: Muskö. The Armed Forces has an established bus connection starting at Vattugatan with stops at Gullmarsplan, Sockenvägen, Västerhaninge station, Ribbyskolan, Ösmo traffic junction, and Muskö base.
Start date: As soon as possible by agreement.
Medical examination with a satisfactory result regarding work with thermosetting plastics.
Business trips may occur within the framework of the tasks.
