Traveling Service Technician at TRUMPF

About the Position

As a traveling service technician, you will:

• Be part of a team of 40 traveling service technicians with support from in-house technicians and group leaders.
• Work in the field and be the face of the company to customers.
• Be responsible for preventive maintenance, repairs, and installations of TRUMPF technology.
• Handle shorter repair and service tasks as well as longer installation projects.
• Work with mechanics, electronics, hydraulics, pneumatics, and control systems.
• Preferably be based in Gothenburg and work in Sweden and Norway.

About You

Formal Qualifications:

• Completed secondary education, preferably post-secondary education in electrical, mechanical, or automation fields.
• Several years of experience in technical work related to repair, service, and maintenance, preferably on industrial machines.
• Ability to read electrical and control schematics and other information in service manuals and technical documentation.
• Basic knowledge of mechanics, electronics, hydraulics, pneumatics, and control systems.
• Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
• Driver's license (B).

Meritorious:

• Experience working with punching machines, either as an operator or maintenance technician.
• Previous experience as a traveling technician.
• Forklift license, lift training, fall protection training.

• Employment rate: 100%
• Recruitment form: Direct recruitment (not staffing)
