Motorman at Stena Line

As a motor man, you will work with operation, maintenance, and repairs on board the ship's engine department. You will be part of a team with motor men and repairers led by the ship's chief engineer. In addition to daily work, you will also play an important role in the ship's safety organization.

What we offer

We offer a permanent position starting at Natuica based in Halmstad. You will work in a 2-3 system with shifts of two weeks.

Requirements for this position:

• Basic Safety Training (5 days)
• Watchkeeping engine personnel/Qualified engine personnel
• Special maritime security
• Medical certificate for seafarers
• Passport
• Seafarer's book
• Fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written, and good knowledge of English

All certificates and licenses must meet the requirements according to STCW-Manila.

Good to know

The work involves varied working hours at all hours of the day. If you proceed in the process, you will undergo a drug test in accordance with our alcohol and drug policy.
