We are looking for seasonal substitutes for the production unit in our Water and Wastewater Department, which is responsible for the operation of the municipality's treatment and water plants.

The Water and Wastewater Department of Kristianstad Municipality provides our citizens with good and healthy water and manages wastewater handling. We have just commissioned our new central treatment plant and a new water plant in Gärds Köpinge!

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Water Technician, you will primarily work with processes as well as operation and maintenance tasks. You will be based at the Central Treatment Plant or the Central Water Plant. The work is varied, and with personal responsibility, you have the opportunity to influence the organization of the work. In your daily routine, routine tasks are mixed with troubleshooting and problem-solving.

QUALIFICATIONS

If you have a background in operational technology or equivalent knowledge/experience, it is an advantage. We prefer that you have experience in operational technical work.

You are computer literate and have experience working in IT-based systems and can express yourself in Swedish both verbally and in writing, as communication and documentation are part of the job responsibilities.

You can work with other people and are good at listening, showing empathy, and respect. As a person, you find it easy to quickly learn new tasks and can follow instructions, procedures, legal requirements, and policies, as well as adhere to set timelines.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

The Technical Committee is responsible through the technical administration for the development, construction, and management of the municipality's public spaces and buildings. The committee is also tasked with organizing municipal water and sewage supply (VA) and is the road authority for municipal roads.
