We are looking for a Water and Wastewater Technician for our Water and Wastewater Department responsible for the Central Waterworks. Welcome with your application!

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Water and Wastewater Technician, you will primarily work with processes as well as operations and maintenance tasks. You will be based at the Central Waterworks. The work is varied, and with your own responsibility, you have the opportunity to influence the organization of the work. Daily tasks alternate between routine work, troubleshooting, and problem-solving. On-call duty is included in the position.

QUALIFICATIONS

We require that you have a background in operational technology or knowledge/experience that the employer considers equivalent. Experience in operational technology work is an advantage.

You have computer skills and experience working with IT-based systems and can express yourself in Swedish both verbally and in writing as communication and documentation are part of the job responsibilities. You also need to have a B driver's license.

You can work well with others and are good at listening, showing empathy, and respect. As a person, you find it easy to quickly learn new tasks and can follow instructions, procedures, legal requirements, and policies, as well as adhere to set deadlines.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

The Technical Committee, through the technical administration, is responsible for the development, construction, and management of the municipality's public spaces and buildings. The committee is also tasked with organizing municipal water and wastewater supply (VA) and is the road authority for municipal roads.
