We are now looking for a Conference Host/Hostess for Scandic Anglais.

No matter why the guest comes to us, few things are as appreciated as a friendly face welcoming them. As a Conference Host/Hostess, you will act as a host alongside the rest of the hotel team, creating a world-class guest experience.

In the role of Conference Host/Hostess, you will work within one or more areas of responsibility that all contribute to the guest's overall experience. During your time with us, these areas may vary as you and the business develop. With us, you will take significant responsibility for making the decisions necessary to satisfy the guest, and the teams will develop and improve work methods and service as the world changes. What is your role as a Service Host?

Basic cooking, preparation, and setup
Refilling buffets according to concept
Washing dishes
Cleaning
Keeping order in the kitchen and common areas
Conducting self-checks
Following Scandic's Food Policy
Following concept and manual for F&B
Support to bar, cleaning, and self-checks
Providing guests with a positive reception and good service
Planning for arrivals
Project management
Handling complaints and possible compensations
Showings
Providing service to conference guests
Preparing the venues, furniture arrangement
Invoicing
Working with upselling
Keeping the premises clean and tidy

Who are you?

Several years of experience in similar work
Good social skills
Unpretentious team player
Good knowledge of Swedish and English.
Computer literate
High ability to provide excellent service
Some knowledge of beverages and food
Ability to sell
Knowledge of Simphony & Scorpio
Good knowledge of Office
Additional languages besides Swedish and English are a plus

The position is a part-time employment for occasional days as needed.
