About the Company

Valbo Trä AB has planing mills in Edsbyn, Valbo, and Skutskär. A production of approximately 250,000 m3 of planed products with 140 employees. Our three planing mills guarantee capacity. This does not mean we overlook the small or the different. We always strive to deliver timber products with quality, reliability, and personal service.

Your Responsibilities

Do you have a burning interest in mechanics? Do you enjoy creative solutions to technical challenges? Then this opportunity might be perfect for you! Valbo Trä is now looking for a committed and solution-oriented mechanic to join our team.

In the role of mechanic, you will play a key role in ensuring that our production runs as planned. You will be responsible for both preventive and corrective maintenance, as well as implementing improvement measures. This means you will perform regular inspections and maintenance to prevent downtime, identify and resolve technical issues as they arise, and implement innovative solutions to optimize machine performance and lifespan.

The working hours are initially during the day, but shift work may become relevant in the future. Therefore, it is important to be flexible and open to working shifts as needed.

The position is located at Valbo Trä in Valbo.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone with a relevant technical vocational education or high school education focused on mechanics or experience in mechanical maintenance. We consider it an advantage if you have broad technical knowledge of industrial facilities and mechanics.

You are meticulous, service-oriented, and driven. Quickly switching between different tasks is no problem for you, and you thrive in a varied work role. Furthermore, we see that you are positive, social, and value good dialogue.

You will be employed by Clockwork and work on assignment at Valbo Trä. The assignment lasts for 6 months with good chances of extension or employment at Valbo Trä.
