About the position

Your main responsibilities will be to work on the maintenance of existing properties as well as new constructions at the school. Lillerudsgymnasiet consists of several different properties, including animal barns, machine halls, student accommodations, and school buildings. This allows us to offer many varied tasks. You will work independently as well as together with our other carpenter.

The position is full-time at 100%, but a lower working percentage may be possible by agreement.

The position is a permanent employment, and a probationary period may be applicable. Start date will be as soon as possible or according to agreement.

A B driver's license is required.

About You

We are looking for someone with suitable education and several years of experience as a carpenter. You have a broad competence within the profession and are well acquainted with the tasks. You have good collaboration skills and thrive in a role with a fast pace and varied tasks. You enjoy leading and coordinating projects and can work both independently and together with colleagues. You are interested in problem-solving and can identify and implement improvements. As a person, you are unpretentious, self-driven, and motivated by taking significant responsibility in the workplace.

About Lillerudsgymnasiet

Lillerudsgymnasiet is a prestigious agricultural school with approximately 280 students and 80 employees. Here, we educate young people for a future in the green industries. The school offers upper secondary education within the agricultural program with specializations in: horse management, animal care, farming, and natural sciences. Lillerudsgymnasiet is a free school with national intake, and about 75% of the students live in the school's student accommodations. This creates a wonderful family atmosphere at the school.

Lillerudsgymnasiet is beautifully located 15 km west of Karlstad. The school has a school farm as well as cows, pigs, sheep, and pets. We also have a complete equestrian facility with two beautiful riding arenas located at Färjestad's racetrack, as well as a trotting stable.
