Senior Risk, Opportunity & Compliance Manager

ValueOne is seeking a Senior Risk, Opportunity & Compliance Manager for a long-term consulting assignment with a company in the defense industry in Sweden. The assignment is to be filled as soon as possible and may involve some long-distance commuting, primarily based in Örebro County.

About the role

In the role of Senior Risk, Opportunity & Compliance Manager, you will have a central role within the procurement operations of our client. You will drive the development of structured work with risks and opportunities and ensure that the business complies with laws, regulations, and customer requirements - both nationally and internationally.

Main responsibilities:

• Develop and lead the work within Risk & Opportunity Management
• Act as expert support to colleagues in procurement, supplier quality, and logistics
• Ensure compliance with requirements from customer agreements, laws, and regulations
• Represent the organization during audits
• Conduct risk assessments and monitor compliance levels in international units
• Report risk and compliance indicators to management
• Participate in and drive cross-functional initiatives and projects within the area

Experience and competence

To succeed in this role, you need several years of experience in risk and compliance management and an academic education in engineering, economics, law, or business development. You have solid knowledge of legislation, regulations, and standards in risk and compliance, as well as experience working with compliance within supply chain and/or information security. Furthermore, you are fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written, and have a good ability to communicate clearly, build trust, and work systematically. Experience in project management is an advantage.

The assignment requires a security clearance (RK) and Swedish citizenship.
