Do you want to help develop procurement strategies and supplier relationships within the high-tech defense industry? Saab Dynamics is looking for a dedicated and business-driven Category Account Manager (CAM) for the procurement department, focusing on the product group Mechanics. In this strategic role, you will have the opportunity to influence and contribute to long-term development within your category. The work spans several locations, and you can be based in Linköping, Karlskoga, or at our newly opened office in Solna Strand.

Your Role

As a CAM in Mechanics, you will have the opportunity to build a broad network and influence both internally and externally. You will be a central part of our procurement team and responsible for leading and developing strategies both in the short and long term within your category. In your role, you will work on developing and implementing category strategies, analyzing the market, and introducing new cross-functional working methods to strengthen collaboration within the category team. You will represent procurement in Saab's overall category management and contribute to strategic decisions that impact the business as a whole.

Your work will also involve evaluating and further developing existing suppliers as well as identifying new business partners that can strengthen our competitiveness. Through continuous market analysis, you will ensure that our supplier portfolio maintains a high and sustainable level. You will drive strategic work for both your supplier base and category and lead cross-functional teams to ensure that the work is characterized by quality and follows Saab's procurement strategy and guidelines.

Your Profile

To succeed in this role, you need to have a strong drive and thrive in a coordinating function where you communicate with many different parties, both internally and externally. Since the role involves coordinating the work for other strategic purchasers, we highly value leadership experience. You have a natural ability to create engagement and collaboration around common goals and are unafraid of new challenges.

Experience in strategic procurement or project management is advantageous, but what truly sets you apart is your communication skills, your solution-oriented approach, and your ability to lead and motivate others. You are a unifying force in complex projects and processes and are confident in taking initiatives and making decisions.

As we collaborate with both local and international suppliers as well as colleagues from various parts of the organization, fluency in Swedish and English is a prerequisite for working effectively and maintaining high quality in our processes.
