Qualifications

You are a qualified special education teacher in language, reading, and writing with experience in student-centered work, guidance, and investigative work. Your main focus is Swedish, where you teach, assess, and develop students' reading and writing skills. You map students' needs, conduct pedagogical investigations, and design and follow up on action plans. You have good knowledge of children's early language, reading, and writing development and teaching in Swedish for grades F-3.

To thrive in the role of special education teacher with us, it is important that you have the ability to create pathways for contact and maintain relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues. You enjoy a varied job with a lot of responsibility. You are confident in your role, flexible, and curious.

Together with all employees, you take overall responsibility for all students' school days and contribute to a pleasant and inclusive environment. You enjoy collaborating, leveraging strengths, and can see both details and the big picture to help our operations reach as far as possible. You have a clear teaching leadership focused on the development of the entire school operation and students' learning.

You work systematically and purposefully with the curriculum as a foundation and strive for students to achieve as much as possible based on their circumstances. This means that you plan, organize, and prioritize work effectively. You also contribute to developing the school's long-term work with language development and learning environments. You are part of the student health team, work closely with the school's other special education teachers, and can collaborate with external experts.

You can reach students who struggle to succeed in school and help them develop and believe in their abilities. It is a merit if you have worked both as a special education teacher in Swedish for grades F-3, a primary school teacher in grades F-3, and in special education groups.
