JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

The Adult Education in Hallstahammar Municipality is organized under the Social and Labor Market Administration, area Work and Education. In Adult Education, we conduct Swedish for immigrants, basic Swedish/ Swedish as a second language, basic mathematics, and nursing assistant training in our own management. We also have contracted education and purchase education inter-municipally. We are also responsible for community orientation for newcomers in Hallstahammar Municipality.

You will be part of a workgroup where we have good cooperation both internally and externally with actors such as Job Center, the Employment Service, and Social Services.

QUALIFICATIONS

We see that you are a certified teacher with the authority to teach Swedish for immigrants. It is also an advantage if you have experience in teaching adult education. You have digital competence that you use daily in your teaching as a natural tool in learning.

As a person, we want you to be confident in yourself and in your leadership in the classroom, and see collaboration and cooperation as a source of development for yourself and the organization. You possess the ability to structure and take responsibility and have a strong commitment to the target group, adult students.

You have the ability to see the whole in your work and can easily engage and motivate other people and want to create the best possible conditions for students to achieve their set goals. You have a coaching and validating approach in your work and want to work in a multicultural environment.

We place great emphasis on your personal qualities with a focus on social competence, good collaboration, and initiative ability.

The position may alternate between the different levels of SFI based on student demographics and the needs of the education. Evening work may occur.
