Your tasks

As a special educator, you have an important role in the school's student health work. In addition to being part of the overall student health team, you will be part of one of our three student health teams. The role of the special educator is central, especially in the processes concerning students in need of special support. You work in investigative, consultative, and remedial capacities. Working closely with students and providing support for their education is a natural and central part of your assignment. You also have an active role in working long-term for a good and stimulating study situation for our students within the promoting and preventive student health work.

Your competence

We are looking for someone who is a licensed teacher and has a special education degree. We also want you to have experience working in schools. Experience working in high school and with students in need of special support is an advantage for the position. As a person, you work independently and are happy to bring new ideas to work-related issues. You are curious to learn new things and are meticulous in your work. Collaborating with others is a given for you. You apply your knowledge so that all students learn and develop and value differences in your teaching. Your goal is to create a learning and innovative climate, and you do this, among other things, through good relationships with work teams, students, and guardians.

Before you can be employed, you need to present a valid extract from the police criminal record.

In connection with the interview, you need to prove your citizenship. You can do this with a passport or a personal certificate along with an ID document. If you are not a citizen of Sweden, the EU, EEA, or Switzerland, you must show that you have a valid work permit or are exempt from the requirement to have a work permit.
