At Stora Sköndal's neurological rehabilitation clinic, we welcome patients aged 18 and older who have suffered from illness or injury to the nervous system. The care department has 28 beds for inpatient rehabilitation of patients coming directly from acute hospitals or home.

Our most common diagnosis groups are patients with stroke, Parkinson's disease, MS, brain tumors, and epilepsy. We also care for and rehabilitate patients after multiple trauma and other conditions that affect the nervous system. Patients are offered intensive and scheduled training, but rehabilitation is ongoing in the everyday environment of the department. Here, you as a nursing assistant play an important role. The goal is for the patient to regain as much independence and quality of life as possible.

As a nursing assistant with us, you will be part of an integrated team collaboration between doctors, nurses, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, speech therapists, and social workers, focusing on the patient and their relatives. Your main tasks are to ensure that the patient receives good and safe care and to support the patient's rehabilitation goals together with the team.

• You are a trained nursing assistant and have worked in healthcare for at least 2 years. Experience in acute neurology and/or neurological rehabilitation is an advantage.
• Good ability to communicate verbally and in writing in Swedish is a prerequisite as the position involves continuous communication with patients, relatives, and the team.
• Experience in patient transfers, venipuncture, tube feeding, skin and wound care, and blood sugar measurement is advantageous. Some computer skills are required, and it is beneficial if you have previously documented in the Take Care journal system.
