Who are we?

Daglig verksamhet Jursla is an experience-based daily activity where we offer individualized activities within aesthetics, life skills, environment, and wellness. Our target group consists of individuals with functional variations. Challenging behaviors occur in the operations and place high demands on motivational work and support in social contexts.

We are a total of seven employees working to design activities aimed at providing stimulation, development, and community, as well as increasing each person's independence and participation in society. We work with a user-oriented approach where the work is guided by the user's needs.

We are now looking for a support assistant for our dedicated team!

Your tasks

As a support assistant, you have a strong focus on our participants, are pedagogical, and are passionate about developing and improving the everyday lives of our participants. In our daily operations, you work to offer meaningful activities based on the participant's interests, wishes, and conditions.

This is a varied job where each participant's needs, desires, and personalities differ. You will be part of a committed workgroup with other support assistants and support pedagogues. The tasks include close collaboration with relatives, housing, guardians, healthcare teams, and other authorities.

The work requires a low-arousal approach and good knowledge of clarifying pedagogy. This also means that we as staff must be flexible and unpretentious and understand that we must dare to evaluate and develop ourselves to achieve success in our work.

Who are you?

We are looking for someone with education in care and social services, child and leisure with a social focus, or other education deemed equivalent. We would like you to have experience working within LSS, and it is an advantage if you can use sign language support or alternative communication methods.

You have knowledge and experience of low-arousal responses and visual structure/clarifying pedagogy.

As a person, you have a strong user focus and are motivated to develop and improve the everyday lives of those we serve. You enjoy collaborating in a team where everyone's skills are utilized in the best way. You have good pedagogical abilities and can adapt your communication style according to the different conditions and needs of your counterparts.

Since we work with people, no day is the same, so we see that you have the ability to remain flexible in response to changing circumstances during the workday. We also see that you have the ability to work in a structured manner and can plan your work.

You express yourself well in Swedish, both orally and in writing.

A driving license for manual transmission is a requirement for the position. You should be able to drive both manual and automatic transmission.
