Who are we?

Health and Medical Care Organization 2 is an area-based team consisting of nurses, nursing assistants, and physiotherapists and occupational therapists. The area of responsibility includes five special accommodations with permanent places and respite care places. These accommodations are located at Bygdevägen 15 in Vikbolandet, Silverringen 56, Lindövägen 102, Plåtslagaregatan 8, and Trumpetaregatan 2.

Your responsibilities

As a nurse with us, you have an important role in health and medical care, where you have both primary and secondary responsibility for the patients in the accommodation. As a primary nurse, you have the main responsibility for a number of patients, while as a secondary nurse, you act as a consultant for a larger group, for example, when your colleagues are on leave or during weekends.

Your main workplace is at Bygdevägen 15, but as needed, you also assist at other accommodations in the area. Your work involves both preventive measures and medical assessments, where you handle doctor contacts, sampling, medication management, delegations, and palliative care. You are also an important part of the unit's development of quality and patient safety.

In medical matters, we have a good collaboration with the responsible health center, and together with doctors, you plan medical interventions and rounds.

The work is both varied and independent, where you plan and carry out interventions within the framework of health and medical care. At the same time, a certain flexibility is required, as acute situations may arise.

Who are you?

We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse. If you have experience working in municipal care and support, we consider it an advantage, as well as experience in geriatrics, palliative care, or dementia care.

As a person, you are flexible, secure in your role, and have a positive attitude. You have the ability to plan, organize, and prioritize your work effectively. Since the work is largely consultative, you are clear and pedagogical in your communication. You enjoy collaborating in a team as well as working independently, and you have an interest in quality and development work.

You have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, and hold a B driver's license.
