About us

Uddevalla Jourcentral is operated by all Närhälsan health centers in Uddevalla municipality, Närhälsan Lysekil, and together with the private health centers Centralhälsan Silentzvägen and Familjeläkarna Uddevalla.

The Jourcentral is centrally located in Uddevalla, within walking distance to public transportation. In the same premises, you will also find Närhälsan Dagson health center.

About the job

Being a nurse with us means a varied job where the patient is in focus. We assess incoming patients at our drop-in clinic. The tasks include triage, acute care of sick patients, sample collection, and assistance with wound injuries.

We work in a team consisting of nursing assistants, nurses, and doctors. We use the Asynja Visph journal system. Our working hours are 5 PM to 10 PM on weekdays and 11 AM to 6 PM on weekends and public holidays.

About you

We are looking for a licensed nurse who is confident in your skills. We prefer that you have experience in the field, which gives you the ability to prioritize and make quick decisions. Experience in emergency care and/or work at a health center or urgent care center is a plus.

You have an interest in meeting new people and a sensitivity to the situation. We value personal qualities such as initiative and teamwork since we are a small group working closely together. Of course, you meet patients and colleagues in a professional manner and share Närhälsan's core values: Reliable, Caring, and Innovative.

About the recruitment process

The selection process consists of two steps. The first selection is made by recruiters in the HR department who invite candidates for a phone interview. Then the hiring manager makes a second selection of the applicants and invites them for an interview at the health center.

We use competency-based interviews, which means that the answers to the questions should be based on actual situations. It is important that you describe as concrete situations as possible and try to avoid generalizing answers – this is to help us understand the situation, why you acted as you did, and what the outcome was.
