Main Responsibilities and Tasks

At Folktandvården Källstorp, you will meet patients of all ages with various care needs.

As a dental nurse with us, you play an important role in ensuring that patients feel well received and secure during their visit. You will utilize your entire skill set while the position also requires creativity, empathy, and a sense of service. We enjoy challenges and innovative thinking, and strive to engage all employees in the clinic's development work.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting with examinations and treatments
• Working with your own patients in prophylaxis treatments, onboarding, oral health counseling, or acclimatization treatments
• Working in the sterilization area and reception
• Working with FRAMM
• Outreach activities

Currently, we have a total of 20 employees. We have an open atmosphere with lots of laughter and good collaboration! As our patient numbers increase, we need to expand our staffing with additional dental nurses! Are you the person we are looking for?

If you travel by public transport, the bus stop is just a stone's throw from the clinic. If you take the train, you can walk to us in 15 minutes from the train station.

If you drive, you can park for free outside the clinic, and there are also charging stations for electric cars right outside.

Qualifications and Profile

• Qualified dental nurse with an approved education from MYH (The Swedish National Agency for Higher Vocational Education)
• Interest in both pediatric and adult dental care
• Good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written
• Ability to organize and prioritize work effectively and wisely
• Ability to present a stable and calm impression even when there is a lot to do
• Ability to collaborate and relate to others in a responsive manner

If you are new to the profession, you will receive an individually tailored mentoring program during your initial time. The mentoring program is part of our two-year development program for newly qualified dental nurses.

About the Recruitment Process

The first step in the recruitment process is a digital interview with HR. After the application period ends, the clinic manager will select candidates and invite them for an interview at the clinic. These interviews are scheduled for weeks 16-17.

Folktandvården Västra Götalandsregionen conducts checks in suspicion and criminal records before employment.
