Description

The positions are resource services, so-called pool services, which means that placement is conditional based on needs within all of the department's operations.

The placement is based on a core operation, and the job includes being booked/placed at another workplace if/when needs arise. This applies to both planned and urgent needs. Working hours vary between day and evening shifts, full days, weekends, and on-call shifts.

Operations

Håljutegatan, Järvstigen, Banjovägen, and Loftvägen's special service accommodations are residences for individuals with significant difficulties managing their daily lives due to mental disabilities and some comorbidity. Support includes assistance in the individual's home but can also involve social interventions to break isolation. The interventions aim for the individual to manage to live as independently as possible with the goal of achieving their own housing. The operations are staffed around the clock, and a requirement for employment is the ability to work full day shifts as well as overnight shifts with on-call duty. Educational requirements are nursing assistants with a focus on psychiatry, social psychiatric care, or what the employer deems equivalent.

Hasselbackens activity house and Skogslyckans book café is a workplace where you will map needs and resources for the individual and based on this find individual solutions to achieve the goal of employment. This may involve functioning as support in employment and collaborating closely with other authorities and actors to achieve the best results.

We have a strong focus on health and wellness and motivating our users to physical activity. You will meet users both individually and in groups.

Housing support works with individually tailored support that is adapted to the user's needs and may involve support interventions in the individual's home or in the form of more outward social contact. The interventions are carried out together with the user to increase their functional ability, contribute to greater independence, and allow the user to remain in their home. Educational requirements are nursing assistants with a focus on psychiatry, LSS, and social psychiatric care or what the employer deems equivalent.

For us, quality of life for our users means having influence over their daily lives and their own homes, being seen and respected is fundamental for safety and well-being.

Responsibilities

Your responsibilities include supporting individuals in their daily lives according to the intentions of social services, which means preserving, changing, and developing people's own resources.

This includes performing certain health and medical tasks after delegation from a nurse and rehabilitation staff. It also includes social documentation. It is also important that you contribute to a good working atmosphere for colleagues and a good home environment for the tenants.

Qualifications

The nursing and care program and the course “nursing and care specialization” within the (social) psychiatry area as well as one of the following elective courses; “social pedagogy,” “social work 1” or “social work 2.”

Or

The child and leisure program with a focus on pedagogical and social work and one of the elective courses “social work 2,” “special pedagogy 1,” “special pedagogy 2,” “psychology 1,” or “psychology 2b.” Additional requirements are passing grades in Swedish 1 (100 points) and social studies (50 points) at the high school level, based on the requirements of the care and nursing college.

Other education that the employer finds equivalent.

Meritorious

It is meritorious if you have previously worked with mental health and LSS and have experience with addiction/comorbidity.
