Personal assistance is an intervention according to LSS (The Act on Support and Service for Certain Disabled Persons). As a personal assistant, you provide individual support and care to individuals who have been granted personal assistance because they need help with one or more basic needs. Each client is unique, and your tasks vary based on the client's needs. You respect the client's autonomy and privacy, and contribute to making everyday life run smoothly.

About the position

Our client is a social and cheerful man living in Gothenburg with a great interest in photography, art, music, and animals and nature. He also has a dedicated interest in sports. Since he enjoys sun and warmth and has a summer house outside Lidköping, trips there may occur. When the opportunity arises, he enjoys visiting interesting places, dining out, or attending music events.

The role requires a good ability to create trusting relationships, as the work involves providing support in everyday life with all that it entails. It is also important that you are a cheerful and positive person who enjoys working closely with others.

We are now looking for someone who meets the following criteria:

• wants to work with a man in his 55s living in Majorna
• has good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
• is non-smoker
• has a B driver's license

It is also advantageous if you:

• are educated in healthcare and social care
• have experience with mobility impairments

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

Working hours, employment rate, and salary:

Summer temporary position from week 26-33 and the position is approximately 57% on average over the entire period. The position involves round-the-clock work with working hours from 09:30 to 09:30 (including 7 hours of sleeping on-call).

Fixed hourly wage according to agreement and other compensations are according to collective agreements.

Being employed at Humana

A prerequisite for starting employment with us at Humana is that you, as an applicant, can present valid ID and any documents that prove your right to work in Sweden. To work as a personal assistant, you must be at least 18 years old.

According to legislation, we as employers are required to request a criminal record extract from all employees who will work as personal assistants for a child under 18 years of age. Therefore, you need to present an extract from the police's criminal record before a potential employment. Further information will be provided if you proceed in the recruitment process.
