We are now looking for an Export Forwarder for our client Siemens Energy, a leading global player in the energy sector, for a mission at their site in Finspång. Thanks to high-tech and innovative product development, the company is an established partner in the energy sector, delivering advanced and sustainable solutions for the current and future needs of the market. Through this assignment, you will have the opportunity to work in an international and forward-thinking environment with many development opportunities. This is initially a consulting assignment for 12 months via Unik Resurs, with a very good chance of extension.

Responsibilities and Tasks

As an export forwarder, you will have a broad and varied responsibility within export logistics. Your main tasks include:

• Gathering and managing transport quotes
• Booking and following up on export transports
• Creating export documentation
• Participating in procurement and negotiations with transport providers
• Managing contacts with suppliers and internal clients
• Issuing export customs documents and sending instructions to forwarders
• Responsible for coding and payment of freight and customs costs
• Handling transport claims
• Coordinating Cross-Trade deliveries

Your Profile

We are looking for someone who has:

• Relevant university education in logistics or equivalent experience from a similar role.
• Several years of experience in international transport, customs handling, and preferably contract writing.
• Very good knowledge of English, both spoken and written. Other language skills such as Spanish, German, or Russian are advantageous.
• Experience working in Microsoft Office and preferably in business systems like SAP.
