As a Mechanical Designer at Syntronic Production Services in Sandviken, you will work in a world of diverse assignments with advanced technology. Your role as a Mechanical Designer will be varied and full of development. Here you will have the opportunity to dive deep into our customers' worlds, understand their needs, and design smart solutions to their problems.

As a Mechanical Designer, you will among other things:

• Work on the design of mechanics for everything from small to large projects.
• Handle strength calculations.
• Select the best manufacturing methods and materials with the customer's needs and business considerations in focus.
• Find new, smart technical solutions in our unique projects.
• Develop mechanical functions and products for our customers.
• Together with a team of other mechanical designers, you will work on models, production documentation, and design solutions for all types of projects.
• Get to work on projects that span multiple departments and collaborate with hardware and software developers, test design, and project managers.

We are looking for a Mechanical Designer who:

• Has a post-secondary technical education in mechanical engineering or equivalent.
• Has experience with CAD programs, e.g.: SolidWorks, CATIA, NX, AutoCAD, and/or Creo/Pro-E.
• Can communicate in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

You are a person with good patience, curiosity, and flexibility. As a mechanical designer, you naturally work in a structured and meticulous manner. Your way of working is characterized by creativity and technical innovation. You are solution-oriented and enjoy driving projects forward. Your interest in technology is genuine, and you are stimulated by problem-solving.
