Summer Job for Nurse at Elderly Care Home

Are you a nurse looking to work at a residential care home for the elderly this summer? We are seeking hourly substitutes who want a rewarding job with good working hours and competitive pay.

Who are we?

We are the health and medical care organization within residential care homes for the elderly in Norrköping Municipality. Our team consists of nurses, healthcare assistants, occupational therapists, and physiotherapists. Our elderly care homes are located both in the city center and in the outskirts of the municipality.

Your Responsibilities

We offer an exciting and developing job within municipal elderly care. As a nurse, you have a health and medical care assignment for patients living in elderly homes and short-term care facilities.

You will work in a team with occupational therapists, physiotherapists, nurses, and care staff to ensure that patients receive good and safe care with high quality of life. Your responsibilities include preventive measures, medical assessments, nursing and caregiving tasks, doctor contact, sampling, medication management, palliative care, and more.

Who are you?

We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse with experience in the profession. You have a genuine interest in elderly care and enjoy working both independently and in a team. To succeed in this role, we see that you are a good communicator and easily build relationships. You are flexible and confident in handling acute situations. You have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, and possess a B driver's license.
