About Solklint School
Solklint School and Fårösund School are looking for a qualified teacher eager for a position that can evolve over time in line with the life you want to live.
Within the Northern Gotland school area, there are Fårösund School F-9, Lärbro School F-6, Solklint School F-9, and Fole School F-6. The area has one principal and three deputy principals.
At all schools in the area, we work together to ensure that our students receive a good education where collaboration between different student groups is a way to increase well-being and safety at school. The small school format contributes to engaged employees and colleagues who collaboratively drive school development at all levels. Your responsibilities
Teaching in grades 3-9. You will belong to a teaching team that works around our students in both subject and work teams. For challenging questions, there is an experienced and well-equipped student health team to support you.
Who are you?
You have completed your teacher education. You have a teaching license or are awaiting one. You have worked for several years as a teacher or are newly qualified.
You are a confident person who can lead yourself in a group of like-minded colleagues and exploring children. You understand that teaching starts with clear planning. The important thing is that you want to develop together with other educators to ensure that our students progress as far as possible in their knowledge development.
You are a clear educator who wants to operate in a social context where development occurs together. You have good digital competence and confidence both for teaching and for communicating with guardians and colleagues. You know what is appropriate in social media, and your confidentiality compass always has a steady course.
About the Education and Labor Administration
As part of Region Gotland, we contribute in the Education and Labor Administration to the learning and development of children, youth, and adults. We are responsible for, among other things, preschools, primary schools, leisure centers, adapted primary and secondary schools, cultural schools, high school and adult education, labor market initiatives, youth centers, as well as the reception and establishment of newcomers. Together, we provide opportunities for lifelong learning.
