Innovitaskolan consists of 27 preschools and primary schools created for the needs of the future. We combine traditional teaching with modern tools and methods to provide our children and students with the skills and right conditions in a changing world. Innovitaskolorna are located throughout Sweden, from Kalix in the north to Landskrona in the south. Innovitaskolan is part of AcadeMedia's primary schools.

What we are looking for:

We are primarily looking for someone who is a qualified special teacher or special educator. Competence and willingness to teach mathematics in smaller groups is an advantage, as well as the passion and drive to work with secondary school students.

We offer:

A permanent position at 100% where work in the school's studio for older students is part of the assignment. Work in the studio is combined with special support, teaching, and/or student health work. The exact design of the position can be shaped together according to the needs of the organization and personal preferences. The position is currently part of the school's student health team, which includes various professionals such as additional special educators and special teachers, as well as a counselor, school nurse, psychologist, and school doctor.

About the organization:

Innovitaskolan Visby is an independent institution for students in grades F-9. The school started in 2002 under the name Atheneskolan and is a well-established institution with high satisfaction among students, guardians, and staff. We have a preschool and school with a total of 540 children and students. Creativity, curiosity, and high ambition characterize our operations and have contributed to students' good knowledge development and well-being in recent years.

The school has two parallel grades from preschool class to grade 9. Mentorship teams, subject teams, and work teams are the core of the organization, and we focus on creating equal and good conditions for student learning. The student health work is integrated into the unit and includes central support from the principal. Within student health, there is an opportunity to deepen knowledge in various areas and, together with the team, continue to develop teaching and school environment so that each student can reach as far as possible.
