Teaching Position in Grade 4 at Alléskolan

Alléskolan

Alléskolan is located in the A7 area of Visby, a neighborhood that is growing and developing rapidly.

The new Alléskolan opened in the autumn of 2024, a completely new school building with space for 350 students in grades F-6. Currently, the school has about 310 students. Alléskolan's guiding principles are Safety, Learning, and Well-being.

You will be greeted by engaged colleagues and curious students who together develop all aspects of learning from play to knowledge and community.

Your Responsibilities

You will teach in grade 4 at Alléskolan with responsibility for Swedish/Social Studies as well as other subjects within the framework of Lgr 22. You will have mentoring responsibility for about 25 students and work closely with your mentoring colleague in grade 4.

You are responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating teaching in accordance with Lgr22 and other governing documents for grade 4. You will also collaborate with colleagues, students, and guardians to create a safe and developmental environment for the students.

Who Are You?

You are a licensed teacher with a focus on Swedish/Social Studies for grades 4-6.

You need to be able to adapt your teaching based on results, evaluations, and the individual student's needs.

We are looking for someone who is attentive, patient, and has a strong desire to make a difference. You are flexible and can adapt to different situations. Your analytical skills and structured approach enable you to handle complex challenges effectively. You have experience working with students in need of special support and adapt teaching based on the student's needs.

About the Education and Labor Administration

As part of Region Gotland, we contribute to the learning and development of children, youth, and adults in the education and labor administration.
