Brönjaskolan is a school for grades 7-9 in Sävast, seven kilometers outside Boden city center, with approximately 300 students. Brönjaskolan has three working teams organized by grade and a well-developed and unit-based student health service. The student health team consists of a special educator, school speech therapist, study and career counselor, school social worker, and school nurse. Brönjaskolan also has a safety team consisting of safety coordinators and safety resources, who actively work to create relationships, safety, and study peace for our students. Our focus areas are goal fulfillment, study peace, and student influence. We have a good outdoor environment with a basketball court, football field, and sports hall, as well as the forest at our doorstep.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for you who want to teach textile crafts in grades 7-9.

Teaching will be your primary task. You will also serve as a contact teacher for a group of students, and in that role, you will create the best conditions for students to develop, thrive, and feel safe.

Your primary workplace is Brönjaskolan, but teaching will also take place at another school in Boden Municipality.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who are a licensed teacher with the qualification to teach textile crafts.

We want you to be open to varying working methods, collaboration, and school development. Additionally, you have good pedagogical insights and are well acquainted with the school’s governing documents and systematic quality work. Your pedagogical and social skills make it easy for you to connect with people, and you are therefore also good at conveying your knowledge to our students. You are experienced in using computers as a tool in educational activities.

Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.
