We are now looking for two childcare workers who will join the team at the new preschool in central Kiruna.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a childcare worker, you will be part of a team that works together based on applicable governing documents and guidelines for preschools. Together in the team, you will work for the children's development and learning.

You will initially be stationed at either Hjalmar Lundbohm's preschool or Norrskenet's preschool. In the fall of 2025, these two preschools will move to the new preschool in Kiruna C. The new preschool will be called Norrskenet and will be located on Höstgatan in the new center, consisting of 3 home bases on two levels. On the first floor, there will be a home base for younger children, and on the second floor, there will be 2 home bases for older children. The preschool has two squares, a dining room, and a nice outdoor area. The outdoor area borders the new city park called the green finger. The preschool will open in the middle of autumn, and the preschools Hjalmar Lundbohm and Norrskenet will move there. A process is currently underway with these preschools to develop common guidelines and routines to ensure a smooth move. It will be exciting to open a completely new preschool in the new center.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with a childcare education/degree from the child and leisure program. You have good collaboration skills and are independent, initiative-driven, and goal-oriented, with a situationally adapted approach. A positive attitude is essential. You have an interest in developing new working methods and sharing knowledge and experiences with colleagues. You have a professional approach to children, guardians, and colleagues, and can easily create good relationships. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
