We are now looking for a permanent care assistant for the night shift at Värnamo home care.

We are looking for someone with great commitment, teamwork skills, a sense of responsibility, flexibility, and a forward-thinking attitude. You should be a positive person who finds working with people stimulating. We want you to be communicative and have good knowledge of the Swedish language, as a large part of the work involves ensuring that our clients are understood and their needs are met.

Working hours are scheduled for nights and weekends.

The work involves working alone.

Responsibilities

To provide care and service centered around the client's needs according to the assistance decision and implementation plan, with respect for the client's integrity, participation, and self-determination.

As a care assistant, you will also be the primary care contact for the individual client, responsible for their care and assisting with contacts with authorities, relatives, healthcare, etc.

The responsibilities also include IT-based documentation and administration, as well as delegated health and medical tasks.

Planning in Combine Plan will be part of the responsibilities. Being able to use the planning system is a requirement, as you must be able to replace coordinators during absences and vacations.

Qualifications

Completion of the care and nursing program or other education that provides care assistant competence, as well as good computer skills. The position requires good teamwork skills, flexibility, and independence. Personal suitability is highly valued, and experience is an advantage.

Planning in Combine Plan will be part of the responsibilities, and being able to use the planning system is a requirement.

Conditions

As of July 1, 2023, care assistant is a protected professional title, and to be eligible as a care assistant, a certificate from the National Board of Health and Welfare must be submitted.

A B driver's license valid for manual transmission is required, as well as the ability to ride a bike.
