Brönjaskolan is a grades 7-9 school in Sävast, seven kilometers outside Boden center, with about 300 students. Brönjaskolan has three working teams organized by grade and a well-developed and unit-based student health service. The student health team consists of a special educator, school speech therapist, study and career counselor, school social worker, and school nurse. Brönjaskolan also has a safety team consisting of safety coordinators and safety resources, who actively work to create relationships, security, and study peace for our students. Our focus areas are goal fulfillment, study peace, and student influence. We have a good outdoor environment with a basketball court, football field, and sports hall, as well as the forest right at our doorstep.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for you who want to teach art in grades 7-9. Teaching in additional subjects is relevant.

Teaching will be your main task. You will also have the role of contact teacher for a group of students, and in that role, you create the best conditions for the students to develop, thrive, and feel secure.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are primarily looking for you who are a certified teacher with the authority to teach art in grades 7-9. Additional subject qualifications are meritorious.

We want you to be open to varying working methods, collaboration, and school development. Otherwise, you have good pedagogical insights and are well acquainted with the school’s governing documents and systematic quality work.

Your pedagogical and social skills make it easy for you to connect with people, and you are therefore also good at conveying your knowledge to our students. You have good experience working with computers as a tool in educational activities.

Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.
