Personal assistance is a service according to LSS (the Act on Support and Service for Certain Disabled Persons). As a personal assistant, you provide individual support and care to individuals who have been granted personal assistance because they need help with one or more basic needs. Each client is unique, and your tasks will vary based on the client's needs. You respect the client's self-determination and privacy, and contribute to making everyday life run smoothly.

About the position

The role of a personal assistant places high demands on the ability to create good relationships. Therefore, we are looking for someone who is attentive, committed, and responsible. It is also important that you can take initiative and see what needs to be done. We prefer female applicants for this position, but personal suitability will be of great importance.

We are now looking for someone who meets the following criteria:

• wants to work with a 66-year-old woman living in Överkalix
• has good knowledge of Swedish
• can work in a household with pets
• non-smoker

It is also an advantage if you:

• have experience in personal assistance or similar work
• share the client's interests

Working hours, employment rate, and salary:

The position is a summer temporary job at approximately 80% from week 25 to week 30. The job involves working only day shifts between 06:45-06:45 with on-call time during the night. Work shifts occur on both weekdays and weekends.

Fixed hourly wage according to agreement and other compensations are according to collective agreements.

Start date

According to agreement, but you should be able to start the introduction before the summer temporary job begins.

Being employed at Humana

A prerequisite for starting employment with us at Humana is that you can present a valid ID and any documents that prove your right to work in Sweden. To work as a personal assistant, you must be at least 18 years old.

According to legislation, we as an employer are required to request a criminal record extract from all employees who will work as personal assistants for a child under 18 years of age. Therefore, you need to present an extract from the police's criminal record before a possible employment. Further information will be provided if you proceed in the recruitment process.
