Carlsund Education Center is one of Motala municipality's high schools. We cherish values such as multiculturalism, entrepreneurship, and sustainable development. The school offers eight national vocational programs:
• Child and Leisure
• Construction and Civil Engineering
• Electrical and Energy
• Vehicle and Transport
• Trade and Administration
• Hotel and Tourism
• Industrial Technology

We also have introductory programs and upper secondary apprenticeship education within our national programs. The school constitutes a creative environment, and we develop the operation in close collaboration with local industry representatives where students' entrepreneurship is in focus.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a teacher, you are responsible for planning, implementation, assessment, and evaluation of teaching based on the curriculum and course plan. You create a safe and inclusive learning environment and support, motivate, and stimulate students' knowledge development through varied working methods based on their individual conditions. In teaching, you make a difference for our students by believing in their abilities, encouraging creativity and curiosity, and making it clear to each student that they can succeed in both big and small ways. You work based on proven experience and research and strive to ensure that students receive the best possible development, both academically and socially. You carefully document students' performance and development. You have contact and collaborate with guardians and other actors outside the school and inform guardians about students' development. Through systematic quality work, you work to ensure that set goals are achieved.

Together with your work team, you develop the school's mission and continuously promote collegial learning.

The position includes APL procurement, APL visits, and follow-up of APL (APL - Workplace-based learning).

QUALIFICATIONS

You should have experience from the trade industry, particularly with tasks related to store communication, practical marketing, and event planning.

We are primarily looking for you who are a qualified teacher with permission to teach in relevant subjects. Experience in educational activities is an advantage.

You have a good ability to express yourself in speech and writing in Swedish.

You organize and plan your work well, work according to a clear process where you complete what you have started. You set deadlines and meet them. You take active initiatives in social contexts, step forward, and find it easy to create new relationships and maintain relationships. You work well with other people. You relate to them in a responsive and smooth way. You can adapt and find win-win solutions through an unpretentious focus on the common goal.
